UCLA VS New Mexico 10 PM Friday 9/12

Looked at the game stats…New Mexico State OL and RBs need some extra rest….46 rushes for almost 300 yards…averaged 6.5 yards per carry…Nico is definitely not their biggest problem. He’s an average QB on a horrible team…but at least he wasn’t their leading rusher this week…the Nico saga is turning into the greatest example for that old adage that the grass isn’t always greener elsewhere.

they cant tackle and they get a lot of penalties and they don't know how a football clock works.... those are not on nico'$ plate

UCLA getting rolled by absolutely everyone this year is the best thing that could happen to college football in the NIL era. It’s the best possible cautionary tale, all wrapped up with a bow on top. Chase the dollars if you want, but even trying for short term gain can wreck your future if you make a poor choice and put yourself in a worse situation.

My Gawd. That opening presser by the coach is utterly embarrassing. He seems lost, like he was kidnapped and forced to be the coach. I can't imagine what his inspirational speeches to his team are like. "OK guys, don't forget you're a school from LA, and LA is a big city and all that. So go out and do your best and maybe we can achieve some success...possibly."

First and foremost I absolutely love this. Secondly, I feel like the are throwing out a lot of bad karma that may come and bite us today. We make it past Georgia with even a close loss(obviously we're gonna spank Uga), I will approve of this thread!

Maybe vs Maryland. It'll at least feel like a neutral site game with UCLA's 238 fans. Still wouldn't bet on UCLA, but maybe they get lucky and the jet-lag gets to Maryland.

Every other team on there is waaaaay better than UCLA. And even Maryland and N'western might be.

If UCLA moved down to the Big Sky Conference in FCS, they still might only be a 4-8 team. They aren't beating Montana or Idaho. Maybe they'd beat Portland State and Cal Poly SLO. I legitimately think ETSU could beat them right now.

Every team and recruiting service was wrong. Nico was supposed to be the next big thing according to everyone. Hard to look into somebody’s heart though and see if they really have IT. And I don’t think anyone gave enough consideration to how much of a meddler Dad was going to be.
