Hopefully we'll have some receivers to throw to by then. It hasn't been the healthiest fall camp.

Last year I didn't take the UCLA loss as a warning sign. I tried to block it out of my mind as just a fluke. Not this year if UT has trouble with UCLA or loses you might as well hunker down for a long season.

Deja vu. Didn't UCLA have a couple of freshman starters last year too?

We should have killed those fools. That still ranks as one of my top 10, if not, top 5 worst losses.

yup they had very similar issues last year. they should be improved on defense and at QB this year though.

Our D-line could really make it a long day for the Bruins O. If we can be in the backfield against a freshman QB on his first road game at Neyland...it could be ugly in a hurry. INT's, QB fumbles and Berry returns are in the future. Hopefully we can just manage the game when we have the ball.

Yep

Same here bro. That one hurt.

I thought we were gonna kill them only to find out a few hours into the season that we totally sucked.

I have faith in the new staff though so hopefully we can get some payback this year.

I will take a win, but a blowout would be sweet.

P.S. thanks Droski for bringing actual insight into an upcoming game that we can discuss instead of all the other BS being tossed around.:hi::good!:

UCLA should be familiar with what Lane wants to do with the offense but I wonder what film they watch to prepare for Monte's defense.

Sounds strangely familiar to last years circumstances. UCLA has normally been a tight series. History tends to repeat itself also. This is anything but a easy win in my opinion.

This is a good opportunity for Chris Walker to introduce himself to the college football world.

I think the real story line is with Kiffin vs. Chow...

The offensive system last year was not good at all, this year we should be a lot better. If we cant put together long drives, I am at least hoping the offense can stay on the field long enough to give the D a rest from time to time. Last year was ridiculous.
If Monte watched the UCLA game film from last year then he needs to repeat the first half we played....Only dont be like Chavis and not adjust in the second half to what they are doing...
Send the house Monte....Force a freshmen to make plays in front of 100,000+ fans...
I see Dan Williams, Walker, Hughes and G.Williams having a field day in the backfield. I am hoping for another Cal blowout at home so the younger guys can get a lot of playing time before FLorida.

Rutgers...1979! my #1 choice.

AND UT will be starting a walk-on (former) at center!
