Cant link to other sites but thats what they're reporting along with Chris Petersen being the next coach.

It seems as if there are legs to the rumor of Wilcox leaving.

I wish him well if its true.

He'll do a great job there, and will be a good Head Coach one day. :hi:

RE: Chris Petersen is the next UCLA coach, staff in place
Justin Wilcox, Tennessee's Defensive Coordinator, will take the same position at UCLA.

According to the Tennessee website he reportedly told his players today that he was leaving.

I'm assuming Petersen will take much of his remaining staff at Boise State with him.

What Tennessee site are they referring too?

VN has started a mattress fire in Idaho.

This is getting good...and I mean good as in "OMG this place is about to go bonkers" good, not that Wilcox might be leaving good.

Should be obvious by now Dooley is a dead man walking next year. Hopefully Hart is getting an early start on the short list for his replacement. He has a full year to get it right and I believe he will.

Wilcox might be leaving but the rumor is BS. He is on the road recruiting how the hell did he just meet with his players?

If Wilcox and Sirmon leave there is no reason to wait another year, Dooley has got to go now.

If any of you guys are in the Atlanta market, tune into 680 the fan. Chuck Oliver claims to have some info on "possible staff changes" in Knoxville. Should come up soon.

Why are so many saying this? If he wins 8 next year, he is not a dead man walking. 8 is a good possibility, seeing that we get almost all our starters back, plus a healthy Hunter, Bray, Lathers, and Brewer, not to mention a handful of freshmen contributors. Why assume he's a dead man walking? Too reactionary, IMO.

Dooley should not get another year if the defensive staff isn't kept in place. Why in the hell would any competent DC want to jump on a sinking ship? Chaney and Dooley back without the best part of the staff, hell yeah, sign me up for that.

Friday, i would have agreed with you. But he cost himself some job security losing to a ****ty UK team. He needs 9 wins.
