UCLA backup quarterback Pierce Clarkson was arrested on an unspecified felony charge Friday, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department records.

Clarkson has been suspended from the team indefinitely "pending the outcome of the legal process," UCLA said in a statement

He just transferred into UCLA in May and has already had time to commit, be investigated, and be arrested basically when football season is starting?

According to reports, felony charges are allegedly related to suspicions tied to a domestic assault incident involving the use of a deadly weapon.

The sources said Clarkson was in some type of argument with his former girlfriend and chased her car with his car. At some point, Clarkson sideswiped the other car, the LAPD sources said."
