UCF vs UT

I wouldn't be up for a home and home, but having UCF up to Knoxville sometime in the next 2-3 years, that'd be great.

Lots of folks here hate the cupcake games against lesser G5 teams. This would be a G5 game worthy of their druthers, as it would provide a real challenge.

I would do a home and home with UFC, go to Orlando when we play Florida in Knoxville; this would be good for recruiting Florida players by being in the state two years in a row! There is quite of bit of talent in that region and getting into the area is just another selling point.

On another note, I would love it if we wrecked the Gus Bus in Orlando!! LOL

No interest in playing any out of conference teams from Florida or Georgia. They have vastly superior high school football in those two states. The number of athletes is incredible.

We are fortunate that both have had mediocre head coaches over the last decade.

Always love this topic:

1. Someone suggests a home and home series
2. UT fan says "We too elite for them"
3. UT coach says "We have nothing to gain"
4. UT administration says it is strategically insufficient

Then we get tooled by Georgia State or whoever...

Don’t entertain UCF. Their stadium holds like 43k. That’s barely enough for the traveling Tennessee fans alone. They’ve got classic little brother syndrome, they’re surrounded by Florida, Florida State and Miami, and they want you to believe they’re closer to that level than the South Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International level. They wanna join the big three and look down on the others in the state so badly, but we’re not willing to let them in, so they kick and scream and beg. They’ve spent the last five years pouring their hearts and souls into the idea that UCF and its American Athletic Conference was equal to the SEC and that if UCF played in the SEC they’d be annual contenders. So we all found it particularly hilarious when both their AD and coach bolted for an SEC job. While it would be fun to see a Big Orange takeover of their souped-up High School stadium in Orlando, they are NOT worth and home-and-home for Tennessee, no matter how optimistic and hopeful and persistent their fan base is.

Anybody.
Anytime.
Anywhere.

Attack, attack, attack. ALWAYS ATTACK.

Bring it.

Sure, unless you’re from the SEC with a 100k+ seat stadium on one side, going up against a team in a podunk 40k seat stadium. UCF should be welcomed in Knoxville, but don’t lower yourselves to go play in some Junior College joint that calls itself the “Bounce House.”

Because we would gain little if we win. but if we were too lose it would be devastating and UCF would start claiming another national championship cause they beat a SEC team and their former coach and AD. We would never hear the end of it .
They beat Auburn in their bowl game the year they went 13-0, I'm not going to lie they were legit that year, I would've loved to had seen them in the cfb playoffs just to see how that'd went
