im going to go ahead and tell u people, that justin worley will take the starting job, this year if not red shirted.i think he is a little smarter than bray, not that bray isnt smart, didnt say that, just think worley is prolly smarter.so dont get mad when he takes the starting qb position, just enjoy it,it will be a thing to watch

So we have a 6'6" sophomore coming off a good freshman year but may have gotten by more on natural ability than the mental aspect of being a QB, a senior transfer who probably isn't as good as his brother, and a freshman from the Carolinas who has never taken a snap. Too bad Randy Sanders isn't here anymore.

Not gonna happen this year unless Bray gets hurt. I think worley is more mature than bray tho. Bray worries me sometimes when he "flips out" coz of whatever may happpen. ie wind, stone hands, nacho cheese shortage. I like worley being an EE and he's already proved his commitment to hard work. He's gonna be a good one. Bray will have his hands full trying to keep his starting role however it wont be this year.

Bray was an EE too.

And threw 4 TD's to four different receivers his first half as a starting quaterback.

Any talk of a guy whose never played a down overtaking a guy who did what Bray did last year as a freshman is not just premature, its baseless.

Like most QB controversy, this is the QB Controversy that isn't.

Bray is a gunslinger when he`s hot look out when he`s not LOOK OUT. Just saying watching him this year may make alot of UT fans take up smoking.

Bray is a Brett Favre type QB. Before you guys go crazy and start bashing let me explain what I mean. For anybody who watched Favre at times and cheered for him ended up with Gray hair because of some of the stupid things he would do. My out take on Bray is this he going to be good but if you are looking for a QB that going to make you feel comfortable at all time you might want to cheer for somebody else. It's going to be a wild ride. He may have a alot of game with 4 or 5 td and 3 int along with 300 yrds passing. Just my out take.

i think if bray struggles simms will play.just saying if worley isnt red shirted, still got 4 months of practice, just hope i dont jinx justin worley by saying this on this post.

Justin your time will come .
Worley still has 4 months of practice ? Doesnt Bray have 4 months of practice also ?
I just want to know where you came up with this.I know 1 orange and white game wasnt the determining factor.

With you saying " prolly smarter " I'd say that speaks for itself.

Sorry to disappoint you. CDD isn't stupid. He doesn't invest so profoundly in a QB that won the job last year only to dump him for another unproven frosh. If TB stumbles badly, Simms goes in and despite the putdowns here, Simms is hungry and eager to prove he should be the QB. The boy will play his heart out if put back on the field and has done everything to make sure he's ready if that happens. CDD knows he has a live stick on dynamite in TB and a sort of Sargent Rock in Simms. Worley definitely isn't ready for nor would survive the SEC games if inserted this year. CDD isn't stupid, so sorry to disappoint you.
