it is amazing, the young man's brother started for Clemson and is in the NFL, his dad played in the NFL for 10 years and he hasn't seen the field . As slow as our safeties and dbs looked it is hard to understand. Oh , and haven't stopped the slant yet. The playbook on last year's defense : run it on first and second down, then throw the slant....."slant on 1, ready break"

I’ll be interested to see if he and a few others that seemed to have been forgotten get some more playing time this year with the new staff. That would be a ton of work to put in and never get on the field. Hope him sticking with it pays off for him.

Mark Fields had 45 TOTAL tackles in 4 years at Clemson. Was never a fulltime starter.
And now he's on the Practice Squad in the NFL...

Hough High School in North Carolina has had many players that were ranked high that didn't get close to living up to the hype.
Osbrone and now Tyus Fields for us.

Wow a 21 year old redshirt freshman. I am starting to see alot more athletes that are 2 years behind regular students and makes since for growing and maturing.

I always expected him to ask, “you got any of em French fried taters in thar?”
