It’s one thing to have marginal talent; it’s another to handicap marginal talent with atrocious play calling. Have we been transported to 1983? Our OL is unable to provide any semblance of a push yet run plays up the A gap is the bulk of our offensive scheme. The players have no chance with this offense play calling. Nick Satan always preaches that he puts his players in a position to succeed. This offense schematically defeats any capabilities we have.

Nah I saw a different picture during spring game, except our running backs. We’re just wishing for a better offense.

We tried to. We failed. Cant pound the rock when you cant pick up a 3rd and 1 or 2 on the ground. OL isnt good enough to pound the rock.

At one point I saw a stat that said we were 21 run and 6 pass. If our OL is as bad as it appears to be then wtf are we running 80% of the time. I saw us get called for false start and show a QB run up the middle. Then the next play we ran the same play over again. ( got stuffed again) It always comes down to execution but some of our play calling at times was suspect.

I stated this in another post. Pruitt can instruct Helton to change the play calling philosophy. We do not need to fire the O.C. now. It's on Pruitt.
