Pretty sure I only saw three actually strip in there. The rest are of him coming of the edge and smacking the qb's arm, a Duck dropping a punt, and a decent timed hit on a TE with no hands.

I would still like to point out that I think he is a good college player, but I don't think he is doing anything any other speedy db could do and I don't think he will be doing it in the NFL.

Are we really arguing about whether or not this guy is good? Obviously he's a great player, maybe a bit of a douche but that's true of tons of football players. That said, I hope he tries to light up Da'Rick and gets his head taken off.

Don't be mad cause your supposed star db couldn't even hold Eric Berry's jock strap in the secondary.

He makes his name by blitzing in off the edge and catching a qb's blind side. I'm just not that impressed by that type of play.

Now if he was actually stripping the ball from rb's or laying a big enough hit on a non-defenseless wr to make him fumble I would be very impressed. That just isn't the case though, is it?

Mathieu's a great player. Too bad he feels the need to talk trash instead of just letting his play talk for him. Hopefully he outgrows that. I'm tired of players running off at the mouth, be it college or NFL. What's the point? Just go out and do it.

Here is the reality. If LSU loses they will be the laughing stock of college football. UT only has 17 upper classmen and that includes injured and back benchers. It would be like third graders kicking high schooler's buts. So all the pressure is on LSU...they win no big deal...they lose one of the biggest chokes in history. All LSU sees is a NC and each game closer gets more pressure packed. You know they are just waiting for the Karma to kick in the SEC championship we gave them and the game we gave them last year. They worry when fate will ask for payment. Will it be tomorrow?

I know, but it is just too much fun to pester you.

BTW if the story about how you became a fan of LSU is true I can respect that. I'm just not 100% convinced. And don't think that's a slant on you, I just don't believe most of what I hear on the internet.
