Tennessee was once in the mix to one of the colleges he wanted to attend, poor poor recruiting! Btw I have 2 tickets I need to sell for this game. Lower Level row 8 haha

I've seen plenty of fan posts saying we have a shot, not to mention people who don't even post on this forum. This is the SEC, anyone (aside from Kentucky and Ole Miss) can beat anyone.

I feel bad for LSU for... well... being Louisiana SU... God, that must suck! I mean... Being the poorest, most uneducated state in the mighty US of A... Living in the swamp, living off of warf rats and corn dogs...

I was angry that you were here stirring stuff up on our site until I remembered you are from Louisiana SU. I would be excited to get out of that piss-hole swamp too. We can't blame you for getting a little overly-excited and forgetting your manners.

We understand. We really do. And we feel for you. That's why we will so graciously clean the corn-dog smell out of our stadium Saturday nigh and Sunday. (maybe Monday and Tuesday too. It will take a while!)

Louisiana SU may win Saturday. Just might happen. May even be a probability, seeing how, at this brief time is our schools' long histories, LSU has the most talented roster.

But never forget. Never, ever, ever forget that, win or lose, you are still from Louisiana-- the anus of our great nation. And there aren't enough games on your schedule to change that.

It's easier to be a band-wagon fan where you can root for who's winning and not actually have to pick corn-meal-coated-whaft-rat out of your teeth.

sort of true. He eventually did get an offer from Kiffin, but it was later than many expected. Mattieu arrived on people's radar screens late. He attended camps summer of 09 and just straight dominated. People were mentioning him at every camp he attended. he attended UT's camp and shutout every WR, including Markeith Ambles if I remember correctly (yes, i realize hindsight makes this seem not that big of a feat, but ambles was a top HS WR and demonstrated as much as the HS all star games later that year).. Kiffin didn't offer him at camp though, and if I remember correctly ended up not offering him until after LSU... Either way, once he got the LSU offer it was all done.
