Tyndall on the signees leaving.

The lack of wins next year will have less to do with CDT's philosophy and more to do with the level of recruiting his predecessor did.

Makes sense since none of his 4 signees will be here lol.

Wanna bet who wins more games next year, Cal or Tennessee?

and so I'll go ahead and withdraw my earlier comment, and that didn't take too long bto. Imo doesn't equal fact, especially bolded all caps FACT

Putting it in all caps does indeed make it a fact. That is widely known on internet message boards.

Wanna bet on who has a longer career at UT?

You should conciously try to separate yourself completely from ex coach Martin when posting.

If you're gonna use that line of thinking you could use it even more on the signees. In theory it's a lot easier for them to go elsewhere than Q, so if Tyndall is able to convince them to stay they'd be more of his own than Q. According to your line of thinking at least.

Nope. Q was leaving CCM.

With the signees, CCM left them.

Not the same. My thinking was a bit of a stretch but had some merit.

He may not but a blind man could see that yr coming in yr one....I will bet that his fourth yrs roster looks better than Zo's.

We can argue this all day if you wanna and neither can prove the other wrong so there's no point.

I said 100 times this year I thought next years team was a 20+ win team, and that's what I truly believed.

And if Tyndall keeps targeting c-USA players the roster could look worse than Zo's year 4, as you were always adamant about, gotta get top 100 players and no NCAAT means failed season.

Also, this season's recruiting goes on Tyndall's permanent record. If people are going to complain about Martin missing on guys like Yemi, Washpun, Miller and Q, then same goes for Tyndall. It is funny that I think 3 of Martin's first year recruits washed out after 2 years, and I'm fairly certain Tyndall's will as well, though probably through graduation if he is going the JuCo route.

The question becomes, was it worth Martin rolling the dice on a bunch of high school kids and hitting big on one, and missing on the others, or is stocking the team full of stop gaps and looking to next year a better solution. I do think Martin regretted a few of his early decisions on roster filling. I think if he had to do it over again, you would probably see 2 jucos in place of Yemi and Miller.

Yes every season without a tourney visit is a failed season to be the type of team I want us to be we do have to recruit within the top 100. Do u honestly believe he can recruit and fill out a roster with top 100 recruits after being on the job less than a week on the job with most of the players in the country already signed.

No matter what Donnie does here, I won't miss Zo bc he was not the coach to lead us there.

To lead us where? Past the Sweet 16, because clearly he showed he could lead us that far.

BTO............. Do you want CDT to succeed or fail at UT?

Seems like you would defend CCM even if he had ran naked to midcourt in the middle of a game. Now, you can't wait to share anything that will cast CDT in a bad light and perhaps give you some kind of vindication that Martin was some kind of great coach. I know you know enough about basketball that you knew he was struggling with this program as a coach.

This may be a step back from where we were, but I am hoping it will be a giant leap forward in the future compared to where we were going.

Wanted to posts this here thinking you might see it. Would really like to know. You say he will likely be fine but I am wondering how sincere you really are about that.

the bolded part is so untrue.... you know that nothing anything Kudzu would ever do would that exciting ... he had difficulties waking up :)

Consistently make the tournament and top 25 recruiting....I have told u my standards many times.

He gave us our first top 25 ranking this year in what, 4+ years? This was his best recruiting class by far IMO overall, so yea I think it's fair to say we were headed in that direction. Agree to disagree though
