Here's another thing he said that would surprise everyone that bothered to listen. They have been so close in the last minute in four of the games they lost that if one shot had gone in, they would have gone to overtime. The dunk missed by Reese, the 3 pointer that bounced all over the rim by Hubbs, and a couple more. He said that could have been 9-1 at this point with little different ball bounce. (OK, he didn't say ball bounce before I am called out for that!)

Could* have is more accurate. They could have gone to overtime. No guarantees that State doesn't drive down and hit a layup after that dunk. Not calling you out, but would have is an absolute that cannot be proven.

If CDT can recruit similar players over the next two years like Greg Marshall has, and lead our team to consistent 25+ wins a year along with NCAA Tourney invitations, would you be happy or still a critic? If the answer is happy, then let's have patience and let this play out. Donnie's track record has shown that he can develop winners everywhere he has been. However, he has never found such a bare cupboard of players until now. I believe that this is about to change.

Greg Marshall had an undefeated team and a deep NCAA run with the type of players that CDT is going after. DT WILL GET IT DONE!!!!!!!!!

Naysayers thought Columbus was crazy when he sailed west to get to the spices in the East Indies.

Well, it's a known fact that we lost Chris Clarke due to the investigation. If not directly, then certainly indirectly (Va Tech poisoned the water for us.) Is CDT trying to replace him with a similarly regarded and talented player? I hope so. Also, hopefully some of the positive vibes from our back-to-back Top 5 recruiting classes in football rub off on our basketball program.

It's just amazing the crap people that crawl out ..... Haters are never wrong on their second guessing ..... So much knowledge not being taken advantage of .... But true. This program has potential but if the coach cannot produce a winning product then the players simply will not come. I am a CDT fan to some extent but if by yr 3 he is not getting it done then there will be a change. jmo.
