Did anyone else notice that Buzz Peterson's favorite recruit got himself arrested for theft at an Iowa mall?

something about playing for Steve Alford makes guys want to turn into crimainals. do they not know how overrated of a coach he is until they get there, and then they decide they want to rape or steal to get out of their commitment?

I saw TS on some list in a college basketball preview I was reading listed as a top five impact Freshman at his position. Hadn't heard anything about him in a long time.

Also his other prize, Jamont Gorden, was arrested this summer in Nashville for possession of drugs.

Seems to be status quo these days for alot of programs in some form or fashion, no?

2 tennessee boys headed down the wrong path, i thought that tyler smith was better than that, he seemed like a decent kid, but everyone makes mistakes, so learn from it and dont let it ever happen again

What was the real story behind that whole fiasco? People continue to allude to some shady activities with his father, but no one has the guts to tell. Or maybe all of this is just manufactured hate just because he wanted to back out of a committment.
