I mentioned it last night. The guy sitting next to me at game said look. And it looked like blowup. Then Butch came over at the end and talked calmly. It wasn't a butt chewing. My joke on last night's post is watch out someone is about to fall on a helmet. Lol

Sums up the season so far

I think Dormady and Gurantano have both been set up to fail because of the play calling. Not excusing either of them, especially Dormady, for poor performance but the system doesn't fit Dormady and Gurantano really hasn't been given a fair chance yet. He should be the starting QB vs. SC.

Uh. I've been saying for a year, it's roster management stupid.

Add Jalen McClesky and Bryce Hayden to the Butch blunders.

How did you like that UGA girl screaming in your ear all afternoon?

If you do throw into double coverage you better be accurate and I saw Byrd on a crossing pattern against GT where he wasn't led with the pass, the pass was way behind him. The only pass I saw thrown to Byrd against Ga. wasn't a leading pass either. It was late and just a hair behind and Byrd was catching it but defender got his hand in and stripped the ball. Ga. played excellent pass coverage. Simple matter, ball has to be thrown ahead of the receiver so defender hasn't a chance. The better the coverage, the narrower the window.

If QD threw a pass to Byrd it was either high, behind him or into double or triple coverage.

After the play and from my vantage point, Wolf came up to Byrd and it looked like Byrd shoved Wolf away

So now its Byrds fault he is being misused like several players before that everyone called selfish. Its not their future on the line or anything.

Stuff like this usually happens on a poor coached team.

Can't blame byrd for dropping the only pass thrown to him in what feels like 2 weeks. Also in double coverage I think, and the DB gotta hand on it. I could be wrong though

It was the way he acted. Don't really care if he dropped it or not.

I also saw it, don't know what will come of it though. We need to get him more involved, but you can't have a player acting like that on the field.

And this team is definitely that. 0 development whatsoever. Juniors look the same as they did as freshman. Very few evolving. Some people fail to see that though. You HAVE to develop talent.

Exactly.

Jones gets his golden parachute no matter what. Byrd and the players only have so much time to get noticed by the NFL.

It was the only time Dormady threw a perfect ball and it was perfectly defended. That about sums up how the day went. Anything and everything was going to go wrong.
