I think some of the people on this forum has never played football. You just don't see what all is going on in a football game on TV. All the crap the defensive linemen and linebackers say after they hit you. It's all part of the game. He just caught up in the game and let his emotions show to much. If you watch the film he was walking back to the sidelines then he turned and did the double slash. You don't know what was said to him as he was walking away.

One thing I can say is Bray hates to lose. This is the first game he has lost in 2 years. He will learn from this, and become a better player and person from it.

Agreed. I was glad to see him crying after a loss, I'd rather him show that it hurts instead of just standing on the sidelines emotionless.

If you don't have that level of arrogance, you'll generally have a problem of letting the opponent get into your head. Much like kickers, once a QB is afraid, he's done. I'd rather Bray throw 3 picks and the game winning TD into double coverage than throw for 125 yards and 2 picks, allowing the defense to dictate what he can and can't do.

I remember watching Peyton, Holloway, Streater, Schuler, Casey, Helton, etc etc etc and did they act like a bunch of kittypussified Vols? Hell no, they double and triple slashed opposing teams the only problem was that the cameras never caught it or the press report it which was a conspiracy to hold us back (probably by the Big Ten) and for that matter were they really what Tennessee is all about?

Tennessee is about winning and winning at any cost what else matters and while we are winning, winning means we have to win the badass race. This IS a very important thing since star players and their parents want to come to badass schools not places which hold some kind of stupid idea about integrity. Note that the first three letters of integrity is INT. :machgun:

Obvious, this forum has become a place for a bunch of wimps who know nothing about the game much less having played it i can remember biting the toes off a guy in a pile up because he got in my face on the previous play and said "What up". There is emotion and when other players force us to respond well anyone who knows anything about football knows that anyone who knows anything about football knows that you have to one-up those clowns.

Yeah here comes the posts from the Liberal weenie section of non-players who are clueless to the fact that it is absolutely necessary to outpunk the punks. We need to take care of business and I don't want to hear about this crap "wasting precious time" punking that should be put toward preparing for the next play. :glare:

I don't care that players celebrate or even do a little taunting after a big play (especially a TD). I mean of course there has to be some limitation, like for instance, you shouldn't be able to do a Bud Adams owner's box greeting or a Golden Tate swan dive into an opposing team's band, but who cares? It's football. Celebrate

It is funny how none of the rival fans want to mention the UNC players standing on the sideline after as the game went to OT, holding their crotches and giving hand gestures to the TN fans behind them. And the UNC coaches who were reportedly skipping through the media box yelling F- Tennessee
