Maybe Bray should show no emotion....because it seems thats what some of you guys think. Put yourself in his shoes. Hes 18-19 years old and hes making bigtime plays at a school that is adored for football. Of course hes going to get excited, and sometimes overly excited. What if you were on TV when Tennessee made big plays and everyone got to see your raw emotion(jumping up and down, yelling at the T.V., and some people are worse). You want peopel calling you a jerk, etc? Often i find these boards full of people who just complain about EVERY SINGLE THING that happens. Folks are too wound up these days. Go smoke a cigarette or something.

I'm not into any signage on the field-whether it's pounding your chest and pointing at your sky god or throat slashing....but the kids are kids and we're not playing, they are. They're gonna do whatever they think is cool.

Tyler: Keep your swagger, grow into a man. You don't have to become one today, but everyday make it a point to wake up a be better than the day before. Don't take many peoples advice here, they think we should act like they do. Be you Bro and many will follow. Loved your game!

So let me get this straight. When a player robs a person at gunpoint and gets caught with drugs and a gun with sawed off serial numbers he's just a kid? But when Bray does the Loco thing and a throat slash he's the worst POS in the world? None of this would be talked about if he wa black. Everyone of you white guilt people would be saying how much he's just a kid. Kids do throat slash gestures. Kids do stupid loco signs after a big play because they are 18 year old kids. Thugs put on ski mask and hold people up. You guys need to know the difference.

Karma was a b%tch for Bray last night.....from the throat slash to crying during UNC's last possession

I think he's gonna be a hell of a QB but you don't see ANY QBs with the antics he had last night...Dooley will give him a talking

These "antics" are so overblown it is ridiculous. Have you complainers ever been in a competition before?

I didnt see it live but when I saw it linked online it was weaker than I expected, so overblown.

I don't think I've ever seen a QB look towards the opposing sideline and give the double crossed throat slash....that's what people are talking about

I don't really mind the loco thing....pretty cool

I know exactly what they are talking about, and I also doubt he will make a habit out of it, thus the entire thing is being overblown.

From the sound of it, most of these little women who are complaining haven't even played middle school football...

The throat slash is way overblown. I'm sure players have done much worse on a football field and there will be many gestures made that make the throat slash seem minuscule.

I am so sick and tired of people on this board running Bray down. He is the only reason we have the winning record we have. He will mature in time. Get off his butt !!! I think God that Lane Kiffin brought him to Tennessee !!

Throwing that interception as his final play in 2010 may turn out to be a blessing later. I know we lost the game and I hate to lose as much as the next guy. That said though, it may just motivate Bray and the rest of the team to mature a bit and become a student of how to close and win. This is big time college football and there are going to be some downs along with the ups. Tyler Bray is a talented young man but even Manning had to work to get better. Everyone makes mistakes; The wise learn from them.

I think the celebration penalties rule should be repealed. Let the players and fans have fun. It is part of the game. Also it is never enforced equally, which makes it unfair. Bray should have been flagged under the rule.

He needs to grow up...talent is there, this crap will not fly next year.

There is little point to debate it here, as it seems there are those that think these antcis are pretty cool, while others understand this is classless and a show of poor sportsmanship....which will be sorted out by Dooley, or sadly, at a critcal juncture during a game next year.

I really doubt that we see Bray doing this again in a game.
