Tyler Bray Should Direct Tackling Drills For Tennessee

I just watched the interview, he's NOT talking about that play. He's talking about the pick 6. He said one guy came for him, then a second, so he took the second one out.

So basically the dirty vandy players were trying to hurt our star QB when the guy with the ball was 80 yards away and running in the opposite direction, and our boy said 'fk it, bring it, bltch".

Me likey. Fight fire with fire.

If it was dirty, the Vandy players would have been up in Brays face. It drew a penalty because it was a hit below the knee's. Wasn't dirty because the guy was basically running at him and trying to hit him, Bray dropped and took him out. The guy got up and shook his head and ran to his sideline.

A dirty play is diving at a guy from behind and taking him out by his knees, while the play is 80 yards down the field. That is exactly what Vandy did.

Is this the play that Hyams and Warren are speaking about on air this morning? They're down on Bray making a comment about going for a guys knees and lumping it in with the Vandy players diving for our defenders knee from behind during a play. Bray is clearly heard to say he went for the knee, but was this a tackle or a block or a cheap shot? I'm not remembering the play being discussed. If it's bragging about a cheap shot.....wth is Bray thinking making a comment like that? No one is that stupid...I hope.

On the first interception bray made a picture perfect tackle sprinting across the field and taking the knees out from under the defensive back - which I assume was what he was talking about. Perfectly legal and a punishing tackle.

I am not sure what Bray did and why he got a penalty called on him on the second interception. Way behind the play he and a Vandy lineman got tangled up. Bray drew the penalty but I did not see what he did.

Id like to see it if anyone has a link. Sounds like a classic self defense case....

That's what I took from what bray said, he said he got hit by the first player, and decided he didn't want to get hit by the second, so he went low.

I've looked and looked, but can't find the TBray smashmouth takedown of Barnes after the first of his two interceptions.

Bray streaked across the field (I thought he was supposed to be slow?) and put a massive lick on Barnes, who went down like a sack o taters.

So anyway, I think Bray should be coaching tackling drills.

heh.

Anyway, if anyone can find that highlight, pls post it up. I'd like to see it again. I was kind of afraid he hurt himself, but he just popped right back up again.

Bray is one tough mofo. :loco:

I've said it once and I'll it once and I'll say it again. I'm glad he is our guy.. this boy is a wrrior that wants to win at all costs

Wouldn't say blindsided, he was looking right at Bray.

May be, but it WAS a chop block, and there was no need for it, the ball was down at the goal line at that point with no one near him. I am a huge supporter of Bray, but that was just a release of frustration, and it cost us 15 yards on the kickoff, which gave Vandy great field position and ultimately led to their last TD.

There's treatment for paranoia.

Tell us again how Vandy got screwed by not getting to benefit by a horrible call against Tennessee.

Then tell us how you're such a HUUGGGEE vols fan.

Mmmkay?

I need a good laugh.

p,s, Franklin's a douche, and your team suxorz.

Thanks for clearing it up. We could have probably seen it better if espn didn't have that crappy 3D angle for the game. Fail...

Bs we got the ball on the 20 and he chopped the guy because they tried to cheap shot him. That was the second guy that tried to hit Ty after the guy was past them. What side are u on?

Tennesse did not get screwed. They are my team and they deserved to win. Try a liver cleanse.

I was sitting in my season ticket seats in the south end zone. I saw it clearly. I'm a HUGE Vol fan on the side of truth. Loved the way Tyler brought them back after the pick. The block was uncalled for and that's why there was a flag.

Bray's tackle along the sidelines To stop a TD was both legal and a show ofvleadership and will to win. As far as his block low on the Vandy blocker on the pick six it drew a fifteen yard penalty on the in suing kickoff. I had my Binocholers on Bray many times during the game. And Bray was complaining that the Vandy players were go for his hand every time he was tackled, so I think Bray was showing a little payback with his block. I love his competitive spirit.
Agree 100% it happened right in front of me.
