What would Peyton do? Not any of this silly s**t. I'm all for confidence but this is more of a sign of immaturity than anything else.

What if after a big game winning touchdown Tyler just walked to the sideline, took out pen and paper, and wrote "good catch" on it before giving it to the receiver?

This is BS. Let em play.

I was scared to death they were going to call back the pick 6 for high-stepping into the endzone. Would have been a damn shame imo. Stupid rule.

Somewhere along the line someone is going to make Bray pay for his childish antics.

I don't share your fear.

If you watched the game on espn3 or ppv, I remember a distinct time when he threw a TD pass and lifted his hands up for a touchdown signal and quickly pulled them down and looked around to see if anyone saw

I saw that! I said to my GF "poor guys afraid to even feel good about a TD".

It's ridiculous, these rules.

Well, for starters, Peyton wouldn't beat UF@g. Tyler is gonna put a stop to that silliness.

No kidding. I'm waiting for when a guy actually NEEDS to high step into the endzone (remember, high stepping was an actual thing coached to players, to avoid shoe string tackles) and gets called for it. There will be hell to pay.

BTW, I loooooove the throat slash.

Perhaps it's a personality thing. If it makes the kid happy, whatever.

For me, it makes more sense to spend your energy on other things, like the next play.

he never got penalized for the loco. I think dooley told put an end to it. the loco is awsome though, my son always does it when he watches UT play. how about this toward the opposing team's sideline.

Give me a break. Go drink your ensure and call your AARP rep.

Believe it or not, some of the great players in history celebrated touchdowns. Football is a hard, competitive game. I don't think anybody should overdo it, but there is nothing wrong with showing some excitement when you score. Even if you have been there before.

Well, you brought up Peyton Manning. Lets see about other QBs in the game:

Oh. I see. He must be immature. He couldn't possibly lead his team to success with such sophomoric behavior. It's a good thing he didn't do this and other immature celebrations.

I don't like the loco thing, and think it's retarded, but that's jmo, so I'll be happy if they stop doing it.

Not just the bye-bye wave but on another play he did a shortened, no, I think he actually started to do the loco thing but jerked his hands down. I got the feeling he's under ORDERS to stifle celebrations to avoid knee jerk penalties. I hunted youtube but couldn't find the particular play of this, maybe someone else can locate it? In any case, he looked reigned in and not allowed to play the way he wanted or be himself.

The fact is, referees have been told to crack down on celebrations that are organized or aimed at the other team. Under the new rule they can call back a TD, it's so much worse than it used to be with taking a longer PAT. I don't agree with the rules, but they are what they are.

A fist pump or holding your arms up to signify a TD aren't going to get you flagged. The double throat slash, loco and others will. I think Bray is lucky that the little bye bye wave he did wasn't seen. That kind of thing is going to cost the team at some point this year.
