He also just played TROY! Now, I'm glad he played well, but that's what he's supposed to do against teams like Troy. When he does it vs. the big boys, then I'll be impressed.
He had a better game against sc than any other qb they've played (I'm guessing, could be wrong) but I was tough on Tyler too but he really came out and played awesome vs sc and I think he's turned a corner. This football is a reality soap opera. The team quits on Dooley at the Kentucky game last year, then he miraculously regains trust from his team. Then the team heads in a downward spiral which takes an action that many would call unorthodox. The head coach calls out the starting QB which leads them to victory against Troy. Yes Troy .... ummmm Troy.
Tough audience....Do you think Troy's fans are saying 'well we only played UT, of course we should have 700+ yards'
All I'm saying is that he's got to win the games. I know, I know, he doesn't play defense, but he's also made bonehead plays that have allowed teams to stay in games that we should be winning. Yes, he had a good game against USCe, but he sure has hell doesn't deserve an award for piling on the statistics verses Troy.
