Hood is still ahead of him on the depth chart. If we are fully healthy, Redmond is unlikely to see the field much during meaningful snaps this year. Which is a good thing, unless you are a Stingley or Surtain type, you probably don’t need to start as a CB as a true freshman.

I would say he plays a good bit if and when any of the top 3 are hurt and can’t play, but when we are fully healthy he won’t play much

so glad we finally have elite talent at cb. you need that to truly have elite d. bama's slew of 5* dbs were the cornerstone of so many of saban's great defenses.

if you’re in the 3 deep on defense then you’re going to play. He’s in the 2 deep.

We rotate heavily on defense. Anyone that has paid attention KNOWS this.

Of course we will. We saw Wright at DB in meaningful games and he was 3rd or 4th deep.

Wright was out there against Bama due to injury. Our number 4 corner hasn’t taken a lot of snaps outside of blowouts when corners 1-3 were healthy
