I know he only had one run but excited about this young man! Think he has a very bright future!

He definitely looked super quick. Very next play, he was wide open on a route to the flat, but QD went somewhere else.

Yeah that play I believe QD through it into traffic. Ty was standing all alone and QD never looked over at him. Pretty much first down and more if he looks at Ty on that play instead we punted.

You can already see that he's more electric than Kelly. Kelly is one of the top backs in the country.

QD missed several opportunities in the first half by focusing on the primary receiver only.

It looked in the first half that Dormady was given a one receiver option by the coaching staff. He locked in on one receiver only until the second half.

Can't blame him. Every single mistake he made people were calling for JG. Only after halftime when he was still playing did he get some confidence.

Staring down receivers is something almost every new QB deals with. Dobbs did it too when he started, so did Worley, Crompton, etc.

The more he and his receivers get in time together, the better that will be.

Coming out party Saturday....wait on it...

I think you're right. I think we'll see a lot of JG and Ty Chandler, and hopefully some Tim Jordan too.

Really hope we get a lot of new guys involved, and give some starters a chance to rest. After a game like last night, ESPECIALLY on defense, we need to sit as many guys as we can. Gotta be ready for the games that count.

Chandler was a step or two from breaking a big run and he never sees the ball again. Just on that one play you can tell he is quick and explosive but doesn't get a touch the rest of the game.

PLay calling is a question mark again this year already.

Give the kid a year or 2 and he's going to be big time at Tennessee. Thier is no doubt about it. The carry he had last night looked like he was shot out of a cannon. I know it was the circumstances we were in last night but I would of loved to see him a little more!

Kelly is proven. Chandler is our future most def. He may or may not be better than Kelly in the long run. To say so after one run is ridiculously premature.

But yeah, Chandler is special. Heck put them both on the field at the same time I don't care. Kelly is a little monster, I know he'd block like crazy for Chandler too. I see Kelly probably being drafted after this season, so raise 'em right Kelly!

Never said Hurd was better than Kelly..... Ever
And not taking a single thing away from Chandler, I think he will be a very good back for us, just cant think why anyone would suggest he is so much better than Kelly after Kelly's performances last year and performance last night and from seeing one run from Chandler.

Consider the source, he is batting about the same average as D4H

Some people should be infinitely thankful for the freedom of speech. If they had to justify their comments in order to make them, they may as well become monks and take a vow of silence.

Sounds like something Michigan might have said before the App St. game.
