He will be...once he has an actual o-line to block for him.

If it is going to be a one back set I really like those run play formations with multiple TE's, they're athletic and can continue blocks and follow through. I think one shortcoming the Vols have had in recent years is less than stellar down field blocking. I'm not that familiar with Chandlers stats, is he fast? quick? better runner between the tackles?

He's a very good and athletic RB.

Breakaway speed. Tough runner.

But not very big. 200 lbs maybe

Get the O line fixed and TC will explode.

He's 1 of those guys that every time he touches the ball he's a legit threat to take it to the house.

If he gets open there's not many people that will catch him.

We're lucky to have TC my friends.

VFL...GBO!!!

Not saying he will be him but he has the opportunity to be an Alvin Kamara do-it-all type back. Run, catch, returns. He can be very special.

Do we even have any TE's on the team now?

Chandler is going to be really good I predict. Speed kills, he looks like a natural runner, and has deceptive strength.

I believe Ty Chandler will be BIG BOOM this season. I've heard him referenced as the fastest athlete on the team (2017). Will his skills be developed and exploited by this new coaching staff? Bet on it.

As for his size, let's not forget the new S&C staff! It might take time to pack on the muscle, the desire, discipline, and mindset to attack can be trained rapidly. This will help him use his current strength to greater effect.

Yall are talking about Ty like hes a little scat back. 200 lbs as a true freshman isnt really small. He's 5'11 so he has plenty of frame to get in that 220 range. He can be a beast.
