Ty Chandler commits to Tenn

I would just be worried about 3 guys that are all former 4 or 5 star players at RB not even starting and being only 1 year apart. I'm sure Debord could find a role for them, maybe moving Carlin to more of a slot role. I guess I'm more concerned about Carlin being unhappy, and that affecting what Tyler Byrd does since they're so close. I'm probably being dramatic.
Bama has had 5 star RB/s red shirt because they wanted to be part of championship teams lol.

Mr. Chandler appears to make good adjustments approaching both the line of scrimmage and downfield, which opens up a different and perplexing dimension to his game.

Welcome to the Tylight Zone!

Since Butch has been here he has:

Won two bowl games back to back--not done since the 90's under Fulmer.

Taken us from the bottom of the division to now the SEC East favorite.

Gotten us back in to top 10 pre season poll for the first time over 10 years.

Taken a horrible/thin roster and stacked it.

Beaten GA.

Beaten Spurrier.

Upgraded us with one of the best DC's in the country.

And landed top recruit after top recruit.

Guys has done an outstanding job here!

I like how Fulmer put it to a reporter who asked "How do you plan to keep all those elite running backs happy"? Phil said "they'd better be worried about keeping us happy".

We are nowhere near having too many RB's. Only took 1 last year and Hurd and Kamara likely gone after this year. We need 1 more big time RB in this class to be at the level we need to be at.

Running back is arguably our biggest need if both Hurd and Kamara leave. This is huge especially given the in state success this year.

I hope Kamara has the sense to stay one more year. He could probably go to the NFL next year but if he stayed one more year and became the feature back for at least one season he would add several million dollars to his contract. That's awesome in that Jalen Hurd does not stay.

Now it's time for Cam Akers to come on down to be the next dynamic duo once Hurd and Kamara are gone

You might add that the 2 bowl wins were over ranked Big 10 teams...not just wins, but dominate wins. And I hope you can add a NC to that list very soon.

I would submit he ran Spurrier out of the SEC and coaching. The guy's ego could not take losing to CBJ again and he quit midseason, just could not take Butch had whooped him so bad and for the foreseeable future.
