Does anyone have any legit information hinting that UT might be in the lead for Akers? If he does commit, That leaves us with John Kelly, Ty Chandler, Cam Akers, Carlin Fils-Aime, Jeremy Lewis, Trey Coleman..as notable players anyway. Someone in that group would transfer no doubt about it, at least out of that top 4. Based on what I've heard about Kelly and the upside for Fils-Aime, Chandler and Akers, I would hate to see any of them leave.

Kelly will be a junior, and Lewis is just happy to be here. This doesn't seem like an overloaded glut for a TOP team...if we achieve that status.

I would just be worried about 3 guys that are all former 4 or 5 star players at RB not even starting and being only 1 year apart. I'm sure Debord could find a role for them, maybe moving Carlin to more of a slot role. I guess I'm more concerned about Carlin being unhappy, and that affecting what Tyler Byrd does since they're so close. I'm probably being dramatic.

Not sure but Bama doesn't worry about it. Get what you're saying

I think you can sell RB's on the idea of being part of a stable. Unlike most other positions, the NFL values the RBs that have less tread wear on the tires.

Great pickup for our Vols! Ty being a home grown kid, puts icing on the top! Hopefully this will build some bigtime momentum with our instate kids.

Can't recruit scared...else you'll find something to be frightened of.

As the old saying goes...if you stay, you'll play
