iirc, the story was Banks stepped on the T, Hooker called him out on it, Banks started cursing out Hooker, then Milton stepped in and pinned banks against the wallWasn’t there some story about Milton beating up Jeremy Banks for not doing pushups after stepping on the T in the locker room?
Talk about gaining the respect of teammates. I can’t imagine there’s many backup qb’s that can beat up the starting middle linebacker![]()
I would’ve liked to have seen what Joe could do in a Dan Mullen type of offense or something similar to what Georgia Tech runs. An option based running game with pro style passing concepts with a backfield of Sampson, Wright, and Joe as the power runner would’ve been tough to stopSure wouldn't mind having him right now
He was in an offense better suited to his skills than that.I would’ve liked to have seen what Joe could do in a Dan Mullen type of offense or something similar to what Georgia Tech runs. Milton will always have my respect for his journey here and being a vocal volunteer throughout his time and after. In the current era of cfb you have to have a deep love for the university to take the path he took and stick it out. Nothing but respect for the young man.We were lucky to have Milton. He attracts players to him.
