I have a bad feeling this is gonna be a hard one to keep in the class. Which is a good problem to have.

I think a lot of schools push for him this year. Texas hasn’t offered yet - strangely - and they only have two WR commits at the moment.

I now also worry about that mega billionaire donor at Texas Tech who has decided to open his wallet to buy titles at his favorite school.

He’s also originally from Illinois. He’s been in Texas for 7 years, but he didn’t grow up with the indoctrination.

My 4.5 20 was a real limiting factor in my career. I grew up playing older guys in sandlot games and instinctively knew where to be, just could not get there on time. Created my own eye roll moments.

Yeah, national record for high school is a 9.92. So he still might have elite speed, but 10.00 is almost unheard of. I will say I just saw the world record of 10.30 for a 15 year old from England, while I don’t know his actual age that makes what Cunningham did from Tyner very interesting as he was a freshman and ran 10.39 at a meet not wind aided.

Yea, unless it's documented, it could be anything from accurate to a fairy tale. He still got some wheels though. Fastest guy I ever saw or competed against was a dude that ran around 9.5 or 9.6 in the 100 yd. Nobody in the region could touch him.. Yes, I know, I'm old and from the bygone era of the 100, 220 and 440...
