“Legend is the best football player I believe in the state of Texas with the ball in his hands,” North Forney head coach Marcus Shavers said. “I think he’s really good at getting the football down the field and I say that knowing that is a real general statement but I think he’s the best football player with the ball in his hands anywhere on the football field.”

North Forney plays him at quarterback and all over the field but it’s because he competes like nobody else.

“I think for him it starts off with the God given uncanny athletic ability,” Shavers said. “I mean he’s a guy that is 180-190 pounds that can run 10.2 in the 100 meter dash and squats over 550 pounds. He is a gifted athlete and then he’s a fierce competitor. He competes like a player that plays in the box like a O-Lineman or D-Lineman, linebacker type of grit he has to him when he’s carrying football. So when you add all those things together, he can run the football in between the tackles, he can get out on the perimeter. He has the ability to make people miss in space and he is just one of the best football players I’ve ever seen on this level with the football in his hands.”

What’s next?

Tennessee hosted Bey and 5-star LSU commit Tristen Keys two weeks ago. Last weekend they hosted Utah wideout Salesi Moa. Keys went back to Baton Rouge last weekend but intel suggests that he is still not totally sold on the Tigers and will take more visits this fall no matter what happens in the days and weeks ahead.

Bro Christian Coleman didn’t even come in as a freshman @ 10.1

That is qualifying for the Olympics speed right now

My god what have we done. No one in America can cover that speed
The fasted official time I’ve seen from him his 10.23- which is absolutely moving!

Leonard Scott territory except this kid is a real football player.
