I remember when Texas mods a looong time ago said this would be a disaster recruitment if a certain individual got involved, most Texas fans just blew that off and assumed it was just going to be a weird recruitment, the next time he got interviewed he gave 4 Texas reporters each a different top 5 that’s when we knew it would be a shitshow.
Anyways hopefully the vols get him up and away from whoever this dude is.

No. VQ mods have said that’s not true. That’s coming from an Ole Miss mod who has been saying Evans to ga up until right before Edwards committed there. He has no clue

He can commit to anybody he wants he can commit 50 times to different people. He just can't sign a letter of intent. I thought everybody who follows recruiting it all knows that "commit" doesn't mean anything

Thanks. Didn't think it would be true considering he just visited and by all accounts had a good trip. I think it's between the vols and a&m personally. I was sure he was all dawg up until we took the RB commit today but now that we are out of it I can't see him not picking between one of those two.. Although ole miss always seems to have a shady advantage

I have no idea with this kid. I hope we get him bc we need a back like him, but this is the weirdest recruitment I’ve ever followed.

From Brent Hubbs today:

“Things I have heard today:

Georgia is getting him.
Georgia is out and is a non-factor.
LSU is out.
LSU remains in the hunt.
Ole Miss is out.
It's Ole Miss or Tennessee.
Tennessee is a real possibility.
He's visiting Oregon this weekend.
He's not decided on who he's visiting this weekend.
He's not visiting anywhere this weekend.

That's in the last hour. I honestly am not sure anyone including Evans knows what he's going to do.”

Just unreal the pressure the kid had put on himself here. He is scrambling to find a good fit now after toying with all of his favorites during the process. As much as I hate to say it Tenn is his best option now. He would have a good line to run behind and no other back on the roster who matches up with him. Just hope he doesn't blow this one too.

Somebody must have told Evans he'd never be up for a Heisman or even make an All American team as a RB at UGA. RBs there run as a committee. If Chubb couldn't make AA there nobody can.

By committee may be coming to an end. First we had Gurley/Chubb then Chubb/Sony then DeAndre/Holyfield but last season was mainly DeAndre and this season is probably going to be mainly Zamir.

Boy's i look at it this way, yes he has talent but we don't need the BS that will follow him i mean Gray came on at the end and TY is pretty good, i got a feeling if he goes somewhere else might be doing us a favor, coach JP is getting his type of players i just don't know about Evans even if he commits to us he can show up anywhere he wants in June it won't be over till June either way we won't really know till June i don't think he knows where he won't to go i am not going to worry about this one no matter what he says.
