How long do you wait on him before maybe turning and getting someone in for sure?

Unless, we can get him into school immediately, how long do you wait? If we don't fill the spot is it that bad, or must it be filled?

Worst case scenario, we have an unused spot or even better an unused blueshirt. Can live.

To be clear...I am not saying Zach is a bad apple or has bad character..I am just commenting on the post I quoted saying character is overrated...I think that is very badly wrong. I think this kid is just an odd duck and for some reason has an adversarial attitude towards coaches in general which colors everything he does.

Whoever gets this kid is probably gonna have him on a very short leash. Scholarship limits just magnify the need to get it right the first time.

Short leash or not, Vols need to start landing more big-time players if we want to compete for the SEC again. The program has seen its share of stud players who either had their head on straight, questionable character, or were giant prima donnas. Regardless, CJP needs to reel in the big fish.
