This kid in particular is extremely unpredictable, he may end enrolling somewhere like Southern Miss or Kansas State in June for all we know.
I can't believe we lost a recruiting battle to southern miss. It is a fact that this is complete and total failure by our coaching staff, semantically speaking.

Bryce Brown Jr.?

Hopefully, not. Except for playing freshman year........................and then add the other 2 years after it.

Brown seemed like a good kid, just in the middle of too many voices that really didn't have his best interest. Dad imparticular if remembering correctly.

Anyone remember why we didn't/wouldn't take his brother? Did he really want in, or did Bryce really want to leave?

Just hope he isn't the 5 star type that takes 2-3 years to reach his potential....or is that just on the hoops side?

LOL, some may spin it that way, but they'd be missing what I am saying which is that this kid is so unpredictable he may end up landing somewhere where they have done absolutely nothing to get him, just random chance. He could join the Coast Guard for all we know.

Most people realize that it's not totally up to the staff. There are two parties involved, staff and recruit/family. No matter what the staff does, for whatever reason, sometimes a recruit just likes another situation better. This recruitment is a strange one and there's no telling how this will end up. So if he doesn't come here I definitely wouldn't jump to the conclusion that our staff somehow "dropped the ball"...

Failure doesn't mean the staff "dropped the ball" per say, a staff could do everything in their power and the kid just not wanna come here. It's still a failure. People fail everyday due to no fault of their own.

Seeing this list made me think of this tweet I saw earlier tonight.

Geez what a loaded backfield THAT was! Insane. Little Man, Hayden, Garner, Cobb and Mose Phillips!!! Probably best overall stable we ever had top to bottom. Lewis, Henry and Stephens were a strong 3. Riggs and Houston only pair to run for 1,000 in same season at UT.

Seems to be a correlation here! Need beast RBs!

Yea. Not Pruitt's fault. Didn't want to meet apparently.

I’m to the point where if we get this kid great, but if not we will still be fine. I think we have good RBs and good depth at the position, and we will be fine either way. Just gotta get some solid RBs in the 2021 class

I see what you're saying. I just don't consider a person to have failed if things 'broke down' through no fault of their own. Maybe we agree fundamentally, just not on terminology.. 😎

I think they were poking at you for not understanding the IG abbreviation. Like you must be old or something
I am old and do not care for abbreviations KG,MW or anything else where one has to guess what one is talking about .My appreciation for the one poster who actually advised me what IG stood for.Hell for all I knew IG could have stood for instant gratification,Inspector general, invalid groping, etc

There is a part of me that can't help but to like this kid for that.. Seems like he refuses to "put in a box" and doesn't give a sh!t what anyone thinks about it..
