It does give you the opinion of the people that have seen them in camp setting and in games, which many of us don't have the opportunity to see. Therfore they do have a better idea than us .

Character does matter, heck if they can't fly right, they may not even get to play in college. How many have ended up in prison and never play in the NFL.

Please don't misunderstand me, I was merely stating that character plays no factor in the recruiting rankings if they adjust the kids' rankings based on where they might be drafted in the NFL (based on what school they go to and the talent level of the team around them, etc.)

100% agree that character matters.

Well we need to also know about their character. You get too many of these guys together they just go rob at a gas station. That's the reason the family wants him out of Texas.

It does matter. However, when recruiting services drop one kid’s ranking over character flaws and doesn’t even touch another kid’s ranking over similar or worse flaws, it makes that service’s ranking system a joke. Guaranteed he’s a 5 star if he was going to Georgia

It's not about prison staying out of trouble so they will be playing ball where ever they go . Look how many kids we've had turn their life around and it's been great. But also remember the Fulmer cup ( can't believe I typed that ) loved the 90s but we lost a lot of players for games.

So Pruitt and Nieds went down to Houston by invitation of Evans but didn't know to clear it with Buck Fitzgerald and NPA first...would that be accurate? I hear we have to win over the grandmother in this case as the mother is not involved much.

Apparently he was caught smoking Juul peach flavor, banned in Georgia if underage. Grape flavored in Louisiana, and cranberry while at T A&M. In each instance , he slipped down the rankings and in UGA’s case Kirby had no choice but to cut the cord. Luckily the state of Tennessee has adopted no such laws....😎

That is all true but not able to predict what they will do. The coaches must decide if they are willing to take a chance on them. Hopefully going forward we will get kids like Pruitt has been getting.
