It does give you the opinion of the people that have seen them in camp setting and in games, which many of us don't have the opportunity to see. Therfore they do have a better idea than us .If the difference between 4* and 5* has nothing to do with talent and ability, the rankings are complete garbage and we should not spend two seconds on it.
Character does matter, heck if they can't fly right, they may not even get to play in college. How many have ended up in prison and never play in the NFL.Character doesn't matter if they elevate players based on the schools they go to... Character does matter, but does visiting camps matter? Are you saying these recruiting rankings are quality evaluations?
Please don't misunderstand me, I was merely stating that character plays no factor in the recruiting rankings if they adjust the kids' rankings based on where they might be drafted in the NFL (based on what school they go to and the talent level of the team around them, etc.)Character does matter, heck if they can't fly right, they may not even get to play in college. Well we need to also know about their character. You get too many of these guys together they just go rob at a gas station. That's the reason the family wants him out of Texas. Please don't misunderstand me, I was merely stating that character plays no factor in the recruiting rankings if they adjust the kids' rankings based on where they might be drafted in the NFL (based on what school they go to and the talent level of the team around them, etc.)
100% agree that character matters.
It does matter. However, when recruiting services drop one kid’s ranking over character flaws and doesn’t even touch another kid’s ranking over similar or worse flaws, it makes that service’s ranking system a joke. Guaranteed he’s a 5 star if he was going to GeorgiaCharacter does matter, heck if they can't fly right, they may not even get to play in college. MattS is legit. He doesn't post very often though.Who is this Matt guy? I’ve typed in @Atlanta VOL @MetalVolunteer and @NotoriousRPP enough in the search box to give me arthritis.... now I have to add Matt to the list![]()
It's not about prison staying out of trouble so they will be playing ball where ever they go . Look how many kids we've had turn their life around and it's been great. But also remember the Fulmer cup ( can't believe I typed that ) loved the 90s but we lost a lot of players for games. So they need to start predicting who might end up in prison? No, just rank by ability to play in college.
It did fall through...however it was due to a miscommunication/timing and not lack of wanting it to happen. Something is being worked on and I would say just look to see if he cancels UGA visit.
Apparently he was caught smoking Juul peach flavor, banned in Georgia if underage. Grape flavored in Louisiana, and cranberry while at T A&M. In each instance , he slipped down the rankings and in UGA’s case Kirby had no choice but to cut the cord. Luckily the state of Tennessee has adopted no such laws....What are the character issues with this guy?
That is all true but not able to predict what they will do. The coaches must decide if they are willing to take a chance on them. Hopefully going forward we will get kids like Pruitt has been getting. It's not about prison staying out of trouble so they will be playing ball where ever they go .
