'27 TX OT Kennedy Brown

Always a tough draw with these Texas kids, but this guy keeps coming back. Notable that he seems to shout out CGE in multiple interviews. I have my issues with the man but the players seem to love him when they get in the OL room.

He's good on campus. Players like him. He's just not active at all as a recruiter which makes all the OL recruitments dicey (see David Sanders Jr) and can get out of out-of-state recruitments super early in the process. That's why they try to get these guys on campus over and over so they can connect with Elarbee. Kevin Pendleton does a lot of the day-to-day recruiting.

On Thursday, five-star offensive tackle Kennedy Brown made his way back to campus, and he left impressed. He focused on David Sanders at the tackle position and he said that he saw a clear path of development since Sanders arrived in Knoxville out of the high school ranks. Brown reiterated multiple times of a strong relationship with Glen Elarbee and he said he now plans to return to Knoxville in June for an official visit. When asked if the Vols could be viewed as a serious contender, he said “100%”.
