We knew it would happen...it's just comical. I do believe he deserved a bump well before, but it's just funny they do it the moment he flips to Ohio St.Bey shot up to No. 140 nationally and the No. 4 ATH in the updated On3/Rivals 300 rankings.
Who would've guessed that an Ohio State commitment would boost you 100 plus spots in the rankings??
This stuff happens to us every single year. Yet we still have fans that say it’s crazy when you bring it up. Yet here is just another example of it.Don't get me wrong...Bey is absolutely an elite talent and I think a top 100 player, but the fact On3 never recognized it until after he flipped to OSU is garbage.
Because every SEC game has terrible officiating. You can’t use that as an excuse for every single loss. And for crying out loud you research what ref is gonna be doing our games. I bet I could look at our games and spot multiple times where we held the other team and the refs missed it. Or we committed pass interference and the refs missed it.Why can't you see that with SEC referees?
If it’s not built in any kind of accuracy then why is it then that the teams with the most highly ranked players (according to their rankings) seem to win at the highest level? It is amusing to me how people still do not understand what the "product" is with these ranking services. Their "product" is not educational. It is not built on accuracy. It is not to be used for the purpose of guiding the actions of professionals in the industry. It is borderline TMZ. They want one thing; eyeballs that they can use to charge the customer for the product and to charge advertisers to run ads. They know how to handle the different fanbases to get the most interaction. We do it to ourselves.

He’s honestly STILL underrated.Bey shot up to No. 140 nationally and the No. 4 ATH in the updated On3/Rivals 300 rankings.

I think he was underrated before, but he’s about where he should be now. He’s still raw. He hasn’t played WR in high school and will have to learn the art of route running. Plenty of stud athletes have flopped for failure to nail down a position. I don’t think Bey will flop, and his incredible athleticism is why he should be a top 150 recruit. But there is an unknown that keeps him from being an elite, top 50 type prospect. He’s honestly STILL underrated.
LSU has made a name for themselves for developing WRs, and we took Keys from them.
Legend Bey was my favorite recruit. However, Tennessee still filled their needs at WR with this class.
Raw in experience, but I still want his speed and agility at Tennessee.I think he was underrated before, but he’s about where he should be now. He’s still raw. Sounds like we offered moreInteresting post from Mike Roach at 247
“Top247 Forney (Texas) North Forney ATH Legend Bey flipped from Tennessee to Ohio State during the season, and the Buckeyes secured a commitment from one of the most electric playmakers in the Lone Star State. Since making that pledge, Bey has been happy with his commitment, but he's facing significant pressure as Tennessee attempts to win him back. A source near Bey tells 247Sports that while Bey is completely content with the Buckeyes, several people in his circle are pressuring him to go back to Tennessee. It's been a tense situation between Bey and those voices over the past few weeks, leading up to National Signing Day on Wednesday. After checking in with sources last night and this morning, we have no reason to believe that Bey doesn't end up in the Ohio State class, but the push from those around him to change his mind will lead to some stress over the next few days.”
