2008 had a ton of talent - Eric Berry, Demetrious Morley,
Dan Williams, Rico McCoy. They were the #3 best defense in the nation while the offense was last in TOP. They were pretty nasty

A little off topic but if Evan Berry continues to progress like he has been on kick off returns, could he sneak into the 1st round of the NFL Draft along with Barnett? Or would scouts like to see how he does on Defense first?

I think he will need a great year of defensive performance to catapult into first-round material. He hasn't really stood out thus far as a difference-maker in the secondary.

It will help him slightly. Even as a great of a kick returner Cordarelle was in the NFL, he will not find a team since he could never learn the NFL route tree.
