In Bruce Feldman's defense, this 'freak' list isn't necessarily about the best players, but who puts up the best tangible, physical asset numbers - kind of like measuring guys out at the NFL combine.

That said, I do agree - Simmons is a big ol' boy to not have more of an impact than he does at game time.

Go back and watch that goal line stand a couple of seasons ago against UK that saved that game for us. You'll see TooToo on 3rd down dropping UK's Rodriguez on 3rd down and you'll see a big ol' younger version of Elijah Simmons right in that hole on 4th down preserving our win. After that I'm not very tolerant of people taking shots at the young man. No doubt he can be better, but dogging him out when he's been on pivotal successful plays for us on defense seems like cheap shots to me.

Guy is in his 4th year and other than that one series and perhaps one or two more, you can't definitively say he's played to his full potential.
Yes, I do understand there have been injury issues and other things to deal with in that time too.

Trust me, no one - and I mean no one - wants to see Elijah play to the level I know he can play more than me !!!

He was a project coming out of hs. He now has great coaching. If he can stay healthy (so far he hasn’t) he can be a force.

Wouldn't be in the way and wouldn't be right in everyone's face all the time, but it would give us the opportunity to throw $5-$10 to VolNation every now and then.

Wright was a track guy. I don’t think his speed has gotten enough attention . Hopefully he’ll get healthy and be ready to go.

23.6 is faster than anyone in the NFL has run (during a game) in the past 6 years. I’m seeing the fastest recorded speed since 2016 was tyreek hill at 23.25

Also, I do not think he want to turn this into a money making scheme. He is just truly extremely passionate about our Vols and does this as a community service to all of us. He does a remarkable job of it, might I ad. There are also great moderators here that keep it clean and sorted out.

My guess is that they probably aren’t hurting with the ad revenue and the kickback every time someone buys something from the ads on VN. If they wanted your 5$ they would make it a pay site, but that niche is already filled.
