TLDR version its a dumb idea logistically. If he is fired it should happen after regular season. It should definitely only happen if we have a legit home run replacement in place already. Without a commitment to a replacement he should not be fired until offseason period.
My honest feelings are that the issues that lead to our current record are mostly things the staff had no direct control over and are not indicative of a bad program. JJ and DK being injured were huge blows. GT being scheduled and them being a really good team also sucked. UGA being the beast they are this year another huge blow and QD's injury along with JK deciding to be Ricky Williams lite was the nail in the coffin.
Our coaching staff lost 3 games this year. Florida, SC and Kentucky. Kentucky they get a pass on in my mind because of all the other crap going on there. But I see a glass half full ending here if handled properly. In the UK game JG found his legs. We proved our RB depth chart is not an issue. We can close out this season with a bowl game. Froget APR we can get 6 wins.
Get behind your team. Support them the rest of the season show them the power of volnation and then IF they don't produce let the wrath of fans be unleashed AFTER the regular season is over. Right now they need us. We have a quasi-bye week coming up with USM. This is a time for us to get behind our team and support them because if they can get it together next week LSU is a possibility and if we win that we sweep. and end up 7-5 regular season (terrible but what most people predicted as best case for this team preseason) and the one thing no one in this fan base can argue is CBJ wins bowl games. We win out we end with 8 wins. Bitter pill to swallow but if we keep up the internal hate it turns out much worse.
If we end 7-6/8-5 we are in a good position to hire a decent coach. if we keep up the drama within VN we scare anyone decent away. IF I am a coach looking a the situation now with the fanbase I want no parts of this team. Lets be the top3 fan base VN has always been and stop the silliness.
