It is a paper that encapsulates an idea. The idea itself retains the value. But like all ideas or information it is valueless until recognized and acted upon by the human mind. So you are correct from a literal standpoint. It is basically a museum artifact right now. That can change but voters have to demand it.
Good. You two can both keep your asses out then.I kind of agree with @hog88 about texas.
The Articles of Confederation was far superior to the Constitution. It was an idea conceived in bad faith. The failure of the Articles of Confederation is probably one of the top 10 myths that public schools teach as truth. It is a paper that encapsulates an idea. The idea itself retains the value. Splitting the country would be an unmitigated disaster. What we should be doing is trying to restore basic education of the values to which America aspires. That is why the current battle over CRT in schools is so important. The teachers‘ unions have warped about two generations of students now. This is where the future of America will be determined and why we all need to get involved LOCALLY first and foremostI don't accept the premise that a majority of Americans want to split up country if that's what you mean.
It’s pretty clear that at least for the sample size polled for the regions queried that there is unhappiness with our current government and I think it would be folly to ignore it. The sentiment is growing and parallels a lot of the anecdotal data I’ve heard.I don't accept the premise that a majority of Americans want to split up country if that's what you mean.
Incorrect. We have a one party rule hell bent on dissolving the republic. Why should anyone that actually cares about our republic concern themselves with that one party or anyone that supports them.Kind of how I felt about your post i responded. I think we have flaws in in our government but I don't think we need dissolve the republic.
