Two questions:

Would you trade our win over Auburn earlier this year for a win over South Carolina instead?

Would you prefer we had Vanderbilt at home instead of Missouri?

No and No.

I still maintain that despite our problems in the South Carolina game, we still would have walked away with a win if the refs hadn't given the game to South Carolina. That non fumble call was as bad as the phantom block in the back with Alabama. Lots of truly terrible calls, but that fumble not being called gave South Carolina 7 points, if that hadn't happened we'd have won by four, even with our defense going to crap.

But Auburn was ranked South Carolina wasn't. Always better to beat a ranked team.

I'd rather have Mizzou at home then Vandy, why? Because playing at Vandy is pretty close to a home game anyways.

No and No.
I love that we beat Auburn becuase IMO they are the better team, and the loss to SC didnt impact our conference hopes. Auburn is the more blue chip program. And I would much rather have Mizzou at home becuase their stadium is a much more hostile environment than Vandy. Playing at Vandy is almst as good as a home game, there will be a lot of orange there. On top of all that, Mizzou is a better team and we will have a harder time beating them than Vandy. Not to say that we will definitly win either one, either one is a bit of a coin flip, but I like our chances at home with Mizzou.

No, No. We haven't beaten Auburn is so long and they used to be a traditional rivalry. I take for granted that we will beat USC(east) numerous times in the future.

No. Beating USCe should never be considered much of an accomplishment.

No. Nashville is more fun.

Second "no" first: Vandy is always a home game for us.

First "no": the Vols are 25-10-2 against USCe. We're only 22-28-3 against Auburn. We needed that win more, in our effort to get to a winning record vs everyone in the world. *thumbsup*

Yea, and worthy of the ranking or not, Auburn was ranked. And we desperately need a win in the West.

I'll take that Auburn win all day.

Hell no, and the game at Vandy is a UT home game.

Not trying to be contrary, but, yes and no.

I would take a win over Muschamp, plus I'd rather move up in the SEC East ranks relative to SC. Just my opinion.

No and no.

Why do you ask?

I was curious if people would rather have beaten Muschamp and have Vandy at home so that a bowl game is a little higher probability of happening (imo). On the flip side we have a better chance to beat both of them the way the schedule sits.

On the first question, absolutely NO. That was a huge win for the program. We hadnt beaten an SECW team in at least what 10 years? And a ranked SECW team on the road? Was it 1997 or 98 when that happened? I think some undersetimate just how huge that win was.

Vandy is a home game. Nothing more to say.
