No he wasn't. The post, which is now deleted, mentioned a big game. The SB is the Big Game. The SECCG is a big game. PM passed both tests.

So PM lost to UF 3 times (in '95 the D gave up 62... 62!); he only lost 6 times in his entire collegiate career. Anyone taking a shot at him on this board can go suck themselves.

He never beat Florida. That was the biggest game we had at the time and he choked it 4 times. Not to take away from his otherwise great accomplishments but the facts are the facts with regards to Florida.

He was 0-3 against Florida (you can’t count the 94 game). And two of those games he had pretty good games. In 1995 he dominated Florida and had a spectacular game, so to blame him for that loss is stupid. He didn’t choke as much as his defense and the coaching and team as whole did

He definitely would have if the Bammer/Birmingham resident who reff'ed the Rose Bowl that year didnt blow the final few seconds...
I remember watching the end of that game with the team and fans in the hotel grand dining room in Miami. Ridiculously called game by refs and Ryan Leaf still had them beat. Michigan was such a fraud that year

Ok you got me. He was third on the depth chart in 1994 so only 3 losses.
