Tuttle hit on video?

It's on the game replay on YouTube, a link to which was posted here yesterday. It would be late in the 3rd or early in the 4th quarter, I think.

After watching the replay it didn't look like a cheap shot to me. It looked like a penalty should be called but the Georgia player was just trying to make a block and picked a bad angle and made a bad decision.

Looked cheap to me, first the Ugag player was pulling on Shy's jersey then the ugag player chopped blocked at Shy's leg from behind (or "the side" as those stupid refs saw the game).

It wasn't a chop block because he wasn't engaged up top with another lineman.

However, I thought it was a clip because he was outside the tackle box. Maybe somebody who knows that rule better can chime in?

Looked like a cheap shot to me, isn't anything below the knees a clip?

I was bothered by the TN player apparently stomping a downed UGA players helmut on a ST return in the 1st quarter.

What about the slap to Dobbs' helmet that wasn't called by the offcials?
It was so obvious it could have been seen from the space station.

Then you didn't watch that clip very well. Dude deserved what he got for grabbing the players junk.

maybe someone will post the clip so we can get a better look. better yet, i hope the staff is looking at it as a coaching opportunity. it could have simply been "oops-lost-my-balance" incidental but if not there is no excuse for stomping a downed player in the head.

Watch the clip again. Our player was getting up and the Georgia player is squeezing his junk. He's lucky we didn't rip his helmet off then stomp on him. Retaliation isn't ok, but men do unpredictable things when your hand is in their crotch.

I'll go back and take another look at the clip - I missed the grab. Still bothers me a 300 lb man would stomp someone in the head. Guess that's why they wear helmets.

I can't get myself to look at the Chubb injury again. I don't like seeing joints pushed in directions they aren't supposed to move towards naturally.

Tuttle's injury was following a hold where tuttle beat his man in pursuit so the defender dove at his knees. Obvious chop block causing him to fall over his own opposite side ankle thereby rolling it under. Truth of that matter is it was really two penalties and a cheap shot.
I pray that this injury isn't serious.

I think injuries if deemed to be cheap shots should be punished by the offender missing the same time as the injured!

If John Kelly weighs 300 lbs lets put him on the OL. Kelly may weigh 190 sopping wet.

You must not have watched the video at all.

I know I'm bias but it looked like John Kelly was thrown off balance by the grab. Might have been a bit aggressive, but Kelly also didn't have a lot of places he could have put his foot during the grab.

edit:Also, it wasn't his crotch. Kelly was being yanked down by his jersey.

Definitely a little extra unf to the stomp, but dude wouldn't let go so he doesnt get to act innocent.

I would agree if he had not been holding onto his shirt before doing it. He held the shirt, pulled down on his shoulder, and then clipped him. Very cheap shot.

The injury though didn't take place when I first thought. It wasn't the contact but the way he fell on it after the contact. Again, had he not pulled on the shirt he might not have fallen so awkwardly.

Obvious cheap shot by a guy who was getting whipped all day. Looks like he broke the ankle. I SINCERELY HOPE that he didn't, but it looks bad.
Total punk move by the Georgia player that nobody is talking about nationally. All they are worried about is Chubb.
