Merge if need be.
If any of our running backs had three turnovers in three possessions, I have no doubt they would not see the field again in that particular game. Probably after the second they would probably be done. It wouldn’t matter if the line didn’t execute and he was getting hit in the backfield every play. Coach continually says don’t turn the ball over if you want to win.

Last one that did it was put on defensive side of ball. Only diff here is I don’t think this particular fumbler could help our D

Agree to disagree, he dropped back twice and had pressure and didn’t protect the ball, the other time instead of taking the loss,tossed it to the other team. Had he not turned it over and Vols were able to punt things would not have gotten out of hand as quickly as it did. Several times last year he was benched for a series or two and came back in and performed better. I would say chances are good the results would not have been any worse.

We are bad enough on offense that every turnover is detrimental to our chance to win. Why in the world we don’t have other QBs ready is an answer only the football gods can provide.

I don’t see many rb’s getting hit in the back, while standing in the pocket.

We are bad enough on offense that every turnover is detrimental to our chance to win. Why in the world we don’t have other QBs ready is an answer only the football gods can provide.
That explains why we are not getting any answers from Pruitt. He is not earned his football god wings yet.
