We did it last year, and we can do it again this year. I know it is a entirely different team, but the talent is there. I am NOT expecting the Vols to win, but I do think if they come out firing on all cylinders then a win is a possibility. I want a coaching change just as much as anyone else, but I am rallying around this team and hoping (once again) that a turnaround can happen.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

I don't think there is any doubt that if we play to our capabilities that we can beat anyone.

That's why everyone is so frustrated with the staff.

Agreed BPV. The last three games have been the worst coaching I have ever seen since I have been following the University of Tennessee. We saw it happen last year when we though it was all going to hit the fan, and it didnt. While I just dont see that happening this year, I am still hoping.

No it doesn't. I didn't expect the Vols to win last week, but was still hoping. It's not like I am saying " I hope the Vols lose" I just don't expect they will because of what I've seen thus far.

I do not agree with this. I think our D-Line and Backer are not talented enough to stop any of the better offenses. I also believe that Crompton is not "capable" of beating many teams. (and please do not come at me with the old, "the QB can not win all by himself" remarks. I know that.) He is not good enough to lead a top SEC team.

That IS exactly the problem I see as well. Tennessee has been the worst coached team in the SEC thus far and that is unacceptable.

The lack of talent in key positions, stems from the lack of direction and poor coaching over the past 5 years. When the DC does not even really participate in going after the recruits, we have problems. I guess I could have included that in the first post, can't you read my mind?

I'm taking lessons from emain, but haven't yet found the secret.

On another note, I can blow stuff up with my mind, like dude in Accepted.

this is a make or break game. we lose, the season is lost and we can hope for a new coach and get ready for basketball season. we win, and it could be the start of another 1-2 to 10-4 season and hope can be back on the hill. it's a road game at au so it's goin to be tough. what's goin to happen? with that said unfortunately i think ut will lose a close one and the downward spiral will continue. time to tailgate with some hoosiers.
