Kansas City started off the draft wanting defensive help, and McBride is an athlete who really came on this past season. He’s really a one-year starter, but he had impressive workouts at the Combine and at his Pro Day. He's a 280-pound defensive lineman who can run.

Definitely, I think I was just drinking hater-ade when I wrote that. Better money for being a second rounder too, can't argue that. Go Turk!

Well, if you follow mock drafts, you question the "value" that KC got with this pick...but, while they may have reached a little bit by taking him in the 2nd round, I think they got a versatile d-lineman that can stop the run and rush the passer. Turks one of those "naturals" - it doesn't matter where you put him, he steps in and performs. I think he'll be in the league for a long time.

i was utterly suprised when i saw turk's name on the tv. Didn't expect him to go that early. But i live in KC, and after the pure frustration of passing on meachem, turk was great news. Good Luck Turk!!!
