Ok folks time to move on and get to Arkansas week, after the game Saturday thru Monday was probably CBJ most difficult days he's ever had as a coach... And deserving so IMO.. Let's find out how he's gonna react and how the team is able to after taking a loss like Florida and turn it into a positive... against the Hogs.

I've been planning this trip since last yr and I'm excited to see my team.. This was the matchup the whole SEC was looking forward to.. Two up and coming teams and coaches.. Now it's gonna be a train wreck I will watch..hopefully a big orange crazy train!
My buddy has sent me this pic this week of Bielma and he calls him Adult Butthead.. Maybe should save it for the Make fun of Arkansas thread but here it goes.. I'll post it there later in the week also if no one beats me to it..

The thing that curtails my enthusiasm the next three weeks is the nature of the opponents we will face. They're physical in the run game. All 3 have special backs. When I think of Jumper in the middle and the very soft play of our DB outside of Kelly Jr...well....it's the stuff of nightmares.

I think all the pre season hype was over rated. We are getting there just not this year. If we would have beaten the Gators or Oklahoma vol nation would have deemed CBJ coach of the year. Hang on fellow vol lovers/haters. Maybe, just maybe the WAY we lost will change things. Who knows. GBO!!!!!

I watched the press conference after the a&m loss. He is seriously one of the most disgusting people you'll ever see. He does this weird grunting type thing about every 20 seconds when he talks. Not sure if it's a tic or something he can control. Weird

I have a tendency to agree with you. Our expectations are probably a little high. This Arkansas game at home is HUGE. Johnny Major's favorite saying besides watching game film and saying "Get those hands up" was "9 and 2 will do". I am fine with that. Go Vols! Have fun!

Some of the fondest memories I have growing up was going to Neyland with my Dad. My dad can not make the trip anymore due to health reasons. He had bought two tickets to this game thinking he might be able to go, instead he made it possible for me to bring my 9 (soon to be 10) year old son to his first SEC game, second VOLS game overall. He attended the WKU game with my Dad and me,but I told him that game will pale in comparison for what he is about to witness on Saturday. He has been counting down the days since August. Hopefully it will be something he remembers for the rest of his life, with part of that memory being a VOLS victory.

Yes, I am SERIOUSLY going to question the D coordinator if we even see Jumper in the game except for mop up duty... he was the highlight reel of FL .... guy was so out of position and pancaked so many times ... one frame showed him actually trying to tackle the FL player IN the endzone.... the players will either rally and come together or get blown away the next three weeks. This soft coverage crap has got to stop as well... here's to hoping for adjustments.
