I made the comment in a previous practice video thread (BTW, Fingers, thanks for these) that I thought the players looked like they were just going through the motions. Granted, we only see a portion of what the team is really doing, but even so there still seems to be a general lack of “nasty” in how they practice.

A hungry dog never stops looking for its’ next meal.

If the players are practicing playing a game . . . when do the coaches practice coaching a game? The obvious answer is they don't . . . I am afraid that CJP is turning out to be another Butch Jones . . .

Right now you would have to state Butch in year 3 > Pruitt in year 3.

You are defending Pruitt? Every team faced the same circumstances so your take is without merit.

Butch, in year three had a upward trajectory on the program. The program under Pruitt is on a downward trajectory. Keep posting. You are just proving with each post your limited football IQ. Just to make you feel better , this is my opinion only.

Went right over your head. Butch’s teams faced the same circumstances in year 3 against other teams circumstances as Pruitt is facing now against other teams. Cupcakes for every team in Butch’s third year and no cupcakes for every team in Pruitts third year. Go back to sleep and refresh your brain. You’re having a bad day.

We’re not talking OTHER TEAMS and how they’ve handled the eliminated offseason. You made the comparison between BUTCH’S 3rd season and Pruitt’s. You subtract 3 wins and 1 loss with OOC opponents. Follow the SEC schedule and they’re 0-2 going into Athens. No offseason and that game’s no certainty. So maybe 0-3? Too much for that genius bean to process? Then Bama...so 0-4. Kentucky was still Kentucky so 1-4. We barely beat SC with an interim coach but I’ll tack another one on in a magnanimous gesture...2-4. Mizzou and Vanderbilt may have been all bets off with 2 wins and self doubt ever present (kind of like now). Being generous we finish 4-4...realistic 3-5. Maybe that loads of sleep thing doesn’t work for you? Wake up Professor! 😏

This program is worse off with less optimism of the future than Butch’s third year. Case closed and you lose the debate. Now go back to sleep and try again another day. 😛

Was that Pruitt with glasses near the beginning? Whoever it was looked like he wished he was someplace else. Just my take on the body language.

In all fairness to Pruitt, we are only in Year 3 of instilling proper practice habits. It’s a process. Do your job. Brick by brick?
