Not to mention "wildcat" formations fool almost zero defenses these days. Some studies show the QB keeps the ball >80% of the time. For defenses, it just becomes a backyard game of "smear the QB."
Richmond seems to be the guy at LT and Kendrick and Hall are battling it out at RT.
Unless Hall has seriously regressed, I think we're in a good situation. We know he's SEC-caliber at the very least.
If this guy is really #8 or lower on the OL pecking order, sure looks like he could provide a few snaps at DT in the right situation. Got to be tough to push someone that size out of the way. On obvious running situations wouldn't he be a good guy to plug up the middle of the line?
The obvious answer is that size alone does not a defensive tackle make - although it helps. The coaches have determined that Big Mosley is an OL, at least for now. Maybe he does not have as good explosion or leverage as what is on the DL at this time. I just hope he will use his physical talents to help this team win.
I haven't had the chance to follow along as closely this year as I usually do, so forgive me if this has been discussed and I missed it. But what about Elliot Berry, will he play? How's Croom's transition to TE going?
It's looking like Nigel is making his claim to start alongside TK at safety! Impressive considering Gaulden is a beast.
Tony, Evan has been out with a hamstring injury, he did not participate in that
Yes you did. "He's not what you call really fast". That's copied and pasted from your quote. Evan is really fast.
I didn't know that but Byrd is still faster than Evan Berry. No way I see Evan Berry running 23.7 MPH on his absolute best day. Like I said earlier, Evan is ~3rd fastest player on the team. Maybe the 2nd but he's not faster than Byrd at full health.
There's a difference between me saying really fast & just fast. I said just what you posted. "He's not what you call really fast." That's what I said.
That means he's fast but not really fast. We're getting into real technical territory here. Fast & really fast talk. Not much difference in those in most cases with players.
Maybe anywhere from a tenth or so in 40 speed from fast to really fast? I don't know. I just quoted back exactly what you said that I said about Evan. Thanks!
I think he can run personally 23.6 MPH...with a baby arm.
That's still .1 MPH slower than Tyler Byrd. If you've not watched enough film of Tyler Byrd you're not going to believe what he can do on the field guys.
His PR skills are some of the best I've ever seen from a high school prospect. I've watched literally lots of video footage on him.
