Are we settled at OT yet? Word on the street is that is our weakness right and a big concern.

Not to mention "wildcat" formations fool almost zero defenses these days. Some studies show the QB keeps the ball >80% of the time. For defenses, it just becomes a backyard game of "smear the QB."

That's what I don't understand about those here that want to put *any other player* in at wildcat. True. Berry is dynamic and fast. Perhaps he may even do great out of the backfield. But it's actually taking steps backward to put him in at wildcat.

With Dobbs, you have a VERY dynamic running QB that is also forcing you to defend against pass. So, with Dobbs in, you have to defend against RB handoff/pitch, Dobbs keeping it, or Dobbs throwing it over your head.

If you guys want to see Berry carrying the ball, you'd be better off asking him to replace Hurd or Kamara on certain plays. Or put him in at WR and have him carry the ball on a sweep out of motion. (That's already in the playbook.)

But it's ridiculous to think that you're sitting Dobbs to improve the running game. You're taking away any "play action" pass threat and making the running game harder.

Richmond seems to be the guy at LT and Kendrick and Hall are battling it out at RT.

Unless Hall has seriously regressed, I think we're in a good situation. We know he's SEC-caliber at the very least.

Who doesn't miss it? That's the only reason I still have an xbox360. Use the updated rosters, it's like the game never left.

Except for the fact that it would be nice to have it on the latest consoles to see how beautiful the graphics would be now :(

Swain talked early this am about it being a concern he had heard from players and coaches in fall camp. I couldn't listen any later so who knows

If this guy is really #8 or lower on the OL pecking order, sure looks like he could provide a few snaps at DT in the right situation. Got to be tough to push someone that size out of the way. On obvious running situations wouldn't he be a good guy to plug up the middle of the line?

The obvious answer is that size alone does not a defensive tackle make - although it helps. The coaches have determined that Big Mosley is an OL, at least for now. Maybe he does not have as good explosion or leverage as what is on the DL at this time. I just hope he will use his physical talents to help this team win.

Sullins agrees with you.

I haven't had the chance to follow along as closely this year as I usually do, so forgive me if this has been discussed and I missed it. But what about Elliot Berry, will he play? How's Croom's transition to TE going?

Elliott Berry has been battling injuries and is low on the totem pole, rotation wise.

Mz Terry says her boy loves his new position...and Coach Scott.

It's looking like Nigel is making his claim to start alongside TK at safety! Impressive considering Gaulden is a beast.

I think this is more a product of getting our best 11 on the field... Warrior being that impressive this early allows Gaulden to move back and makes us more athletic and a better defense overall... This is good, very good

Tony, Evan has been out with a hamstring injury, he did not participate in that

I didn't know that but Byrd is still faster than Evan Berry. No way I see Evan Berry running 23.7 MPH on his absolute best day. Like I said earlier, Evan is ~3rd fastest player on the team. Maybe the 2nd but he's not faster than Byrd at full health.

Yes you did. "He's not what you call really fast". That's copied and pasted from your quote. Evan is really fast.

There's a difference between me saying really fast & just fast. I said just what you posted. "He's not what you call really fast." That's what I said.

That means he's fast but not really fast. We're getting into real technical territory here. Fast & really fast talk. Not much difference in those in most cases with players.

Maybe anywhere from a tenth or so in 40 speed from fast to really fast? I don't know. I just quoted back exactly what you said that I said about Evan. Thanks!

Under 10.6 in the 100 meters is really fast. Thanks buddy.

I think he can run personally 23.6 MPH...with a baby arm.

That's still .1 MPH slower than Tyler Byrd. If you've not watched enough film of Tyler Byrd you're not going to believe what he can do on the field guys.

His PR skills are some of the best I've ever seen from a high school prospect. I've watched literally lots of video footage on him.

"Literally lots"? Is that more than .1? And you didn't address whether Byrd could run as fast as Berry if his arm atrophied into a baby arm. :)
