Never quite know where D4H is gonna fall on a player until he either declares him a 3 time Heisman winner, first overall pick in the draft and NFL HOFer......or an unathletic, non-SEC trash player as he has also done. Just no telling until he blesses us with his exalted declarations. I know I'm on the edge of my seat......

Athletically he's the most gifted. He's tall at 6'2". An insider said he tested as the most athletic player in the secondary. Also just watch him move. He has the gait of a high quality NFL caliber DB.

Hopefully he works hard in the classroom because safety is also a cerebral position.

I dont know if he starts this year. TK pretty much has one spot wrapped up. And the coaches like Gaulden who has a year of experience on Stephen. However, I'm confident he'll be the highest drafted guy from this safety group when they're done here at UT.

griffen definately looks like a baller i wish there was a way to get him in there easier. figure TK has a spot for 2 years. gaulden might lock one down for 3, also factor in berry and warrior joining. how do we play all these guys? obviously injury and fifferent packages but im just looking at time as full time starters

True. Most class work translates quite easily to the football field - especially for a safety. Even the material that doesn't translate as well still makes your brain bigger, more agile, and more smarter, which is something required of cerebral positions (e.g., safety). I'm hoping he's taking the maximum amount of semester hours allowed by the university. No such thing as overworking the thinking muscle.

I'm amazed that this is the kind of problem UT now has in the secondary and, really, at almost all positions. And, in addition to the names above, UT is also adding Byrd, who may play safety and may be the most impressive secondary incoming player (and I say this while I have every expectation that Warrior is going to be a terror).

Hart and Butch need to carve out some room in the Anderson Training Center for a replica of this place. It's a vital part of the program, of Tennessee football. I mean, Peyton Manning has his own room....

What am I missing here...I expected KMac to be an instant impact guy and he clearly didn't do anything extraordinary last fall after looking amazing in his highlights from all star camps. Now he appears to again be tempting us with amazing highlights from spring training - what can we expect for next fall? This guy's an enigma - solid player or superman?
