Some notes from player interviews this morning.

***Tyler Baron claims he doesn't know whether this will be his final game as a Vol. Said he'll decide afterward and he really doesn't know yet. Is focused only on this game for now.

***Omari Thomas said he's definitely coming back for another season. Said he hasn't even considered leaving early because he fully intends to leave college with a degree.

***Aaron Beasley said he's coming back next season because he's still relatively new to the LB position and needs more reps.

***Byron Young admitted his age was part of the reason he felt the need to declare for the draft now, but he said he never seriously considered not playing in this bowl game.

As well as the receivers. If the Clemson corners play press coverage, it will be a long night. We've not demonstrated that we can get clean releases from the line in press coverage.
What? We have thrown for 4000 yds, ranked 3 in the Country in passing offence, and faced press coverage all year.

Really hoping Tyler Baron comes back, if he could put a season together of what he did in the Missouri game he will be a game changer.
I also see us going run heavy in the bowl game with less intermediate passing, and more deep shots down field.
Which I feel will be our go to most of next season. Typical of what we saw at Vandy game

Only one team was able to play press coverage and beat us, and it wasn't USCjr. That game was just a complete meltdown by the D.

He’s not god enough for that. Don’t forget he was going to leave us for UK. Wish he would have

Tyler Baron had one of the highest PFF grades on the defense. I realize Young has a higher NFL ceiling, but Baron was far more productive and consistent this year adjusted for what the coaches were asking him to do. Baron's PRP was 2x better than Young's.

PRP: A formula that combines sacks, hits, and hurries relative to how many times they rush the passer
