I agree ... but the definition of an insurrection is : a violent uprising against an authority or government.

That's what it was. The mob's objective was to disrupt the formal certification of the electoral college vote, and to that end, they were successful. The roll call of states had to be delayed until after midnight.

What makes the Fox News and Tucker Carlson revelations so damning, is that they didn't come from the same people you are referencing at all. These text message disclosures came to light from the discovery phase of Dominion's lawsuit against Fox News ... and you don't have to trust a reporter's take. All you have to do, in order to see that Tucker Carlson gives opinions on his how that he doesn't actually believe, is read the text messages, which are Tucker Carlson's own words. They make it clear that both he and his producer believe that the people who watch his show are white trash idiots. Carlson is just telling them what they want to hear, because that is good for ratings - which is all that he cares about.


The list of people who are calling the January 6th riot at the Capitol "a violent insurrection" includes :

Former Republican Vice President Mike Pence
Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham
Republican Senator Kevin Cramer
Republican Senator Thom Tillis
Republican Senator Mitt Romney

The condemnation of the events of that day has been bi-partisan. Those men listed up above were there. Were you?

It fits the definition of an insurrection whether you like it or not.

Fact..no one has been charged with insurrection.yet the term is bandied about with the same way genders and pronoun Party.

They hate Trump because he is a douche and embodies every single negative characteristic of the typical politician and not one single positive characteristic.

It seems like you politician hating people would eventually understand that you have actually been supporting the very worst of the thing you profess to hate.
