A lot ppl are giving you crap but I think a lot of it is we have a lot of fans that are just holding their breath until we lose where they can be comfortable again. If you haven’t bought in at this point, if you can’t be happy with what this team has done to this point the problem isn’t football or this team, there’s something more going on.

We need tcu to lose and not to lose by a lot, that’s it that’s literally all the help we need. Tennessee has the best quality win in the country right over Bama, also have a win over lsu. If they lose to Georgia by a close margin in Athens it’s not going to knock them down that much. Clemson could also lose and that would get them in but they have an easier road than tcu.

Today is exactly what I'm talking about. Losing is one thing and as I said in another thread getting blown out is another. Same ole, same ole. Just don't get what it is about us. We may have just cost Hooker his Heisman.

Hooker has had an off game but there are other factors. No credit to Georgia with superior talent and a great defensive game plan? No, I’m sure that had nothing to do with it.

We proved today we are not a playoff caliber team. The past 8 wins were an awesome ride. This team has far surpassed preseason expectations any of us had. I was hoping for 8-4 maybe 9-3 regular season. It has been exciting. But today proved we are not there yet. We have major holes covering receivers. We can play really well against the run. We can stop drives.
Hooker has to react quicker and take a deeper drop. He looked like the 2021 Version of himself. He is good, but Heisman run is finished. Go Vols and finish the next 3 games. Recruit well and get ready for great seasons coming up. You build a great program over time. Kirby, Satan and Dabo did not do it 2 seasons. CJH needs a few more classes of his recruiting. We need a defense. Period. Offense does not win Championships. We saw that today. Georgia played much better. We did exactly what we have not been doing. We made mental errors. False starts. Sacks. Over thrown balls costs us two TDs. We did not beat ourselves totally, but we did play poorly. Georgia was better team today and better next week. Don’t get mad at me. I’m telling you the facts! Go Vols.
